VolQuake-------------------------------------------------------------------

HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS:

IBM PC/AT or completely compatible equivalent certified for
Microsoft Windows 3.1 or Microsoft Windows 95, a 386, 486 or 
later CPU, at least 4 megabytes of RAM, a hard disk, and a VGA 
or better color (640 X 480) graphics adapter and display monitor.

OPTIONAL HARDWARE:

Printer
FAX modem
Sound board

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:

Microsoft Windows 3.1 or Microsoft Windows 95.

INSTALLATION:

Windows 3.1

Insert the disk in a floppy drive on your PC (usually drive A).  From 
Program Manager, choose Run from the File menu.  
Type A:\VQ\SETUP and hit the Enter key.  If you wish to install
VolQuake in the default drive and directory (C:\VQ) then click the
Continue button.  Otherwise, type in the drive and directory of your
choice, then hit the Enter key.  Once they are decompressed,
VolQuake files occupy about 2.1 megabytes.

Windows 95

Insert the disk in a floppy drive on your PC (usually drive A).  From 
Windows Explorer, click the icon of the floppy containing the 
installation disk.  Double click the VQ file folder, then double click the 
SETUP application file.  If you wish to install VolQuake in the default drive 
and directory (C:\VQ) then click the Continue button.  Otherwise, type 
in the drive and directory of your choice, then hit the Enter key.  Once 
they are decompressed, VolQuake files occupy about 2.1 megabytes.

OPERATION:

Position the mouse pointer over the volcano icon and double-click the
left mouse key.  Shortly after a brief introductory screen, a Menu listing 3
data sets will appear.  Click one of the data sets, then click the OK
button to start plotting immediately, or click the "Introduction to
VolQuake" button, for a more detailed introduction to the operation of
VolQuake.
