Upcoming Webinars
As a condition of receiving funds provided through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), recipients must follow very specific reporting requirements. A series of Webinars will outline the requirements.
The Office of Management and Budget and the Recovery, Accountability, and Transparency Board are holding a series of Webinars starting Monday, July 20, 2009, to outline the reporting requirements that recipients must follow.
The Webinars will cover:
- Basic principles and requirements of ARRA.
- Recipient reporting.
- Technology solution (Federal Reporting Web site, http://www.federalreporting.gov).
- Reporting on job-creation estimates.
- Data quality requirements.

The Webinars will be archived and can be viewed after the initial dates they are held. As part of the reporting requirements, recipients must register in advance to submit reports. Registration for reporting will open on August 27, 2009, at the Federal Reporting Web site at http://www.federalreporting.gov/.
AHRQ recognizes that entities applying for funds under ARRA will not necessarily be reporting on AHRQ awards until future reporting periods. However, organizations can still register in the system and begin learning about the many facets of the reporting requirements.
Additional guidance on the reporting requirements intended for grantees can be found at http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/assets/memoranda_fy2009/m09-21.pdf (PDF File, 550 KB; PDF Help). Final guidance for contractors has not yet been issued, but it is expected to closely follow the guidance for grantees.
