Due to a large volume of reports from our members regarding unsafe conditions and safety violations, we are providing the following guidelines on the values of documentation. (A link to an earlier safety alert on documentation is provided at the end of this message.)
Often, our members are disciplined following an on-the-job injury that was the result of the carrier's failure to maintain a safe workplace.

| As the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) works toward having effective safety regulations in place for the operation of positive train control prior to its 2015 congressionally mandated implementation, the agency is reaching out for feedback to its early proposals.
