SUBJECT: National Child Support Enforcement (CSE) Strategic Planning Meeting

Dear Tribal IV-D Directors:

State and Tribal IV-D directors were invited to attend Phase II of the Strategic Planning Meeting in Jackson Hole, Wyoming June 17-18, 2009 via DCL-09-10. The purpose of the meeting is to review and update the strategies in the National CSE Strategic Plan for FY 2010-2014. The DCL may be viewed on the OCSE website at: http://www.acf.hhs.gov/programs/cse/pol/DCL/2009/dcl-09-10.htm.

In addition, a copy of the current National CSE Strategic Plan may be viewed at: http://www.acf.hhs.gov/programs/cse/pubs/2004/Strategic_Plan_FY2005-2009.pdf.

We understand that some Tribal IV-D programs are experiencing a budget shortfall or may not have included this meeting in the current year budget submission. Should you require an increase in the approved amount of your programâ€™s current budget to attend this meeting, please submit a revised Standard Form 424A in accordance with 45 CFR 309.130(f) with an explanation of need. As required by the regulation, Tribes or Tribal organizations needing additional funds should submit this request at least 60 days before additional funds are needed to allow the Secretary adequate time to review estimates and to issue a revised grant award, if appropriate.
