What is PedNSS/PNSS? - What is PNSS?
Who participates in PNSS?

In 2006, 26 states, 1 U.S. territory and 5 Indian Tribal Organizations contributed data representing approximately 1,100,000 women. PNSS contributors are shown on the figure below. Approximately 99 percent of PNSS data comes from the WIC Program. A small number of records come from other maternal and child health programs.

This is a map of the United States showing contributors of records to the PNSS in 2006. Contributors include Arizona, the Inter Tribal Council of Arizona, the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe (South Dakota), Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Puerto Rico, the Rosebud Sioux Tribe (South Dakota), the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe (North Dakota), Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, the Wichita Caddo Tribe (Oklahoma), and Wisconsin.
*Includes the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe (SD), the Inter Tribal Council of Arizona, Puerto Rico, the Rosebud Sioux Tribe (SD), the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe (ND), and the Wichita Caddo Tribe (OK).
