NWS/HSEM Booth at Minnesota State Fair

Minnesota Citizen Corps volunteers, the Minnesota Division of Homeland Security & Emergency Management and the National Weather Service Forecast Office (Chanhassen, MN) will once again partner to present an exciting and informative booth at the Minnesota State Fair during its 12-day run in 2009. Drop by the Education building during the fair (August 27 - September 7, 2009 9AM - 9PM) to check out our displays about weather phenonomena, watches and warnings and talk to forecasters and Citizen Corps responders about individual and family preparedness issues and about volunteer opportunities in the emergency management field.
