The Fast Response Cutter (FRC) - "Sentinel" Class will be able to deploy independently to conduct the service’s missions, such as ports, waterways and coastal security, fishery patrols, drug and illegal migrant law enforcement, search and rescue, and national-defense operations. The Sentinel Class patrol boat will save lives, enforce U.S. and international maritime law, and ensure security along the United States’ 95,000 nautical miles of coastline.
