Aerospace Supplier Development Mission to India

The Commerce Department’s International Trade Administration (ITA) Aerospace & Defense Technologies Team and the U.S. Commercial Service India (CS India) will organize an Aerospace Supplier Development Mission to India from November 9-13, 2009.
The goals of the Aerospace Supply Chain Development Mission
to India are to:
• introduce US companies to industry and government officials in
India to learn about various aerospace program opportunities;
and
• introduce U.S. companies to joint-venture groups and Western
OEMs operating in India.
November 9-10 / New Delhi
November 10-12 / Bangalore
November 12-13 / Hyderabad
As a participant in the Aerospace Supplier Development Mission to India, you will benefit from the following:
- Pre-travel briefings/webinar on subjects ranging from business practices to security;
- Pre-scheduled meetings with potential partners, distributors, end users, or local industry contacts in New Delhi, Bangalore and Hyderabad;
- Transportation to airports in New Delhi, Bangalore and Hyderabad;
- Meetings with Indian government officials;
- Participation in industry receptions in New Delhi, Bangalore and Hyderabad;
- Meetings with CS India aviation industry specialists; and
- On-site mission coordination.

Participation Fees: $3,900 per company (500 or fewer employees) plus $500 for each additional company representative; or, $4,600 per company (500 or more employees) plus $500 for each additional company representative. Participation fee does not include lodging, some meals, incidentals, travel (except for most transportation to and from airports in-country), and airfare to/from India.
Space is granted to 12 companies. Additional companies will be considered on case by case basis.
