This information was provided as incurred costs in bringing up PARIS. Although this information is specific to these three states, non-member states may want to use this statistical information in assessing their own implementation costs.

• West Virginia
  
  180 hours of Programmer Analyst 3 = $3695
  30 Hours of Programmer Analyst 4 = 713
  125 hours of Data Job Coordinator = 2031
  20 hours of Systems Programmer = 1600
  CPU/Data Storage = 800
  TOTAL COST = $8,840



• Oklahoma
  
  Internal Preparation/Consultation (265 hours) = $9,925
  External Programming/technical specs (80.7 hrs.) = 10,895
  TOTAL COST = $ 20,820



• Oregon
  
  80 hours x $50 = $4,000
  12 hours x $50 = 600
  *60 hours x $54 = 3,240 Administrative Expenses/Overhead
  TOTAL COST = $7,840 (includes benefits)
  
  * The State averaged wage/benefit costs rather than go back to each person in the 60 hours administrative cost sector. For a total summation of costs if you count all staff that was involved, the estimate could approach $10,000 which includes every person who had to review and approve this effort (State’s Legal Review, other executive staff etc.) but a range of $7840 - $10,000 is a fair estimate.
