Transportation Reauthorization

The Philadelphia Museum of Art Traffic Reconfiguration: $13,500,000

The project will implement a roadway and public safety project in the area of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, including a reconfiguration of vehicular and pedestrian access, a new loading dock, and change in the location of loading and other activities.

The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Chester Riverwalk: $3,118,786

The project will rehabilitate waterfront brownfields in the City of Chester by enhancing an existing riverwalk and extending it upstream along the Delaware River to connect with the proposed new parking area and public greenspace.

The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority City Hall Station:  $15,000,000

The project will rehabilitate the City Hall Station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Widener University’s Multimodal Transit Facility: $8,451,538

The project will construct and implement Phase 2 of the Widener University Crossings Multi-Modal System Project.

Drexel University’s Hydrogen Bus Development:  $7,000,000

The project will research and acquire materials and equipment necessary for the Hydrogen Bus Demonstration Project at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA.

City of Philadelphia’s Broad Street/Navy Yard Rehabilitation: $14,000,000

The project will reconstruct and rehabilitation the structurally deficient timber bridge, deck and roadway spanning the U.S. Navy’s reserve basin at the entrance to the Philadelphia Navy Yard. 

City of Philadelphia’s Traffic Operations Center: $2,080,000

The project will design and construct a much needed TOC in Philadelphia.

City of Philadelphia’s Temple University Area Sidewalk Reconstruction: 2,480,000

The project will reconstruct sidewalks, provide pedestrian scale street lighting, tree planting and street furniture around the Temple University area.

City of Philadelphia’s Swanson Street Reconstruction: $2,400,000

The project will provide a new roadway surface, including new sidewalks, medians and curbs, new drainage, street lighting, pavement markings, landscaping and a new signal at the Snyder Avenue intersection.

City of Philadelphia’s Girard Avenue Pedestrian Access: $1,200,000

The project will reconstruct sidewalks and curb ramps, install pedestrian scale street lighting, plant street trees and install appropriate street furniture.

PennDOT’s Streetscape Enhancements: $45,000,000

The project will design and construct streetscape restoration and enhancements at the Kimmel Center, Dilworth Plaza and the Pennsylvania Academy for the Fine Arts along and including Broad Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Bartram’s Garden’s Trail: $3,520,000

The project will design and construct a 2.5 mile off-road trail and restore 1 acre of freshwater marsh.
