These workbooks contain 15 months of family and recipient data to cover both fiscal and calendar years.
Aid to Families with Dependent Children Data for April 1960 through September 1982 are available thanks to Dr. Carl Klarner who took a variety of hardcopy publications, old mainframe computer printouts, and administrative documents and edited and organized them into a practical, convenient electronic format. The data he assembled were produced and/or published by various organizational components of the Department of Health and Human Services and its predecessor, the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare.
