Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this one-week summer program, the participants will be able to:
- Demonstrate proper technique in surgical scrubbing.
- Demonstrate proper technique for taking blood pressure.
- Describe two aspects of living with a disability.
- Discuss ethical considerations in medical decision-making.
- Describe two different methods to identify remains.
- Demonstrate proper technique for intubating a patient.
- Perform a comprehensive on-line literature search.
- Describe two common abnormalities of the heart.
- Discuss two ways that a doctor may relate to a patient
- Discuss two personal qualities that a doctor should possess.
