DATA QUALITY/HELP DESK ANALYST

Starting Salary Range: $48,461 - $78,771 DOE

(CL-26)

Representative Duties

Maintains accuracy and completeness of official case records from opening to final disposition.  Checks the accuracy of daily data entries and reviews various reports for accuracy.  Maintains user log errors.  Reviews entries made to the court.  Verifies case openings.  Prepares and distributes monthly and quarterly statistical reports (e.g., helpdesk reports).  Types, formats, edits, and runs reports.  Performs edits and corrective actions to ensure the accuracy of various data, files, and records.  Tests new events.  Generates deadlines and deficiency notices for missing documents.  Answers telephone calls received at help desk, and assists callers with routine inquiries and provides assistance as authorized.  Screens telephone calls and service requests, and refers to appropriate personnel if unable to address personally.  Provides information and assistance to internal and external users on the Case Management/Electronic Case Filing (CM/ECF) system.  Manages the service request databases, records problems and resolutions.  Responsible for verifying the status, accuracy, and successful resolution of service requests.  Notifies end-users on the status of service requests.  Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

 

 

Qualification Requirements

  • 1+ years of full-time (or equivalent) progressively responsible administrative or clerical experience requiring the regular and recurring application of clerical procedures that demonstrate the ability to apply a body of rules, regulations, directives, or laws and involve the routine use of specialized terminology and automated software and equipment for word processing, data entry or report generation.
  • Must be familiar with a wide variety of software applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Good research, evaluation, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Possesses professional demeanor.
  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
  • Must be willing to fully participate in a team environment.
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, and experience in bankruptcy or a closely related field are preferred.
  • Requires one year experience equivalent to work at CL-25.
