The Department of State is looking for applicants with skills, experience and expertise to fill positions in the following specialties: Governance, Economics, City Management/Engineering, Business Development, Public Health, Public Diplomacy, and Industry.
These positions are located throughout Iraq in provincial teams, supported by US military units. The goal of these teams is to bring together outstanding civilian experts to compliment our military presence, with dynamic programs that encourage moderates, aid reconciliation and counterinsurgency efforts and help accelerate the transition to Iraqi self-reliance.
