IOWA CITY, IowaPatrick T. Terenzini will discuss research into college education on Tuesday, July 15, at 9:30 a.m. in Conference Room D009 at the ACT Conference Center. Terenzinis presentation is titled, Turning Trees into a Forest: Conclusions from 35 Years of Research on the Effects of College on Students.
During the last 35 years, researchers have examined a wide array of college influences on a broad range of student outcomes. But what does it all mean? Terenzini will present an emerging conceptual framework that seeks to answer that question.
Terenzini is a distinguished professor of higher education and senior scientist at the Center for the Study of Higher Education at Pennsylvania State University.
