ATSDR and TDH will hold a community meeting about the public health response for the Kingston Coal Ash ReleaseHarriman, Tennessee Wednesday, June 10, 2009 The health response is a public health assessment (PHA) to evaluate health at a community level. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the agency PHA process. Presenters at this meeting will not be able to evaluate nor address individual health problems; their work on the PHA will evaluate health at a community level. The results of the PHA will be available in late 2009. The meeting is open to the public. It will be held on Thursday June 11, 2009, from 6:00p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at the A media availability session will be held prior to the meeting from 4:30p.m. to 5:00p.m. at the same location.
