The Office of Small Business Assistance is a newly-created
OSHA office that not only administers OSHA's nationwide On-Site Consultation
Program, but also serves as liaison and a point of contact within the agency for
small businesses. OSHA offers many services designed to help small businesses and
welcomes comments and suggestions from small business owners and their employees
as to how OSHA can better serve their needs.

Small Business Assistance
|
OSHA's On-Site Consultation Service offers free and
confidential advice to small and medium-sized businesses in all states across
the country, with priority given to high-hazard worksites. Consultation services
are totally separate from enforcement and do not result in penalties or
citations.
|
|
OSHA's Office of Small Business Assistance serves to
promote all of the agency activity on behalf of small business. It provides
outreach and compliance assistance to small businesses and works to develop and
enhance relations between the agency and small business employers.
