Solid Biofuels Webinar (September 11, 2009)

As the demand for alternative fuel sources grows, U.S. companies are stepping forward to lead the way in providing sustainable energy for the future. One of these “green-collar” industries is solid biofuels, which rely on biomass, often from agricultural or wood waste, to produce fuel. Currently, work is being done in the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to create international standards for solid biofuels. Covered in this works are biofuels from the agriculture and forestry industries, including vegetable waste, wood waste, and cork waste.

Join the U.S. Department of Commerce and the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) for a webinar on solid biofuels and related standards.
