expert capabilities in monitoring and modeling to estimate the emissions,
deposition, and fate of natural and anthropogenically derived chemicals.

Measurement of precipitation chemistry from routine networks, as well as research
perspectives.
Application of fast response trace gas measurements.
Process Studies to understand the cycling of atmospherically derived nutrients,
with a particular focus on coastal regions.
Transport,
transformation, and fate of photochemically active trace gases; air-
surface exchange of nitrogen compounds and air toxics; instrumentation and
technique development and testing
