AFT's Eight-City Back-to-School Tour Is Under Way
The AFT kicked off its eight-city back-to-school tour on Aug. 27 in St. Louis, with school visits and a press conference featuring U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan. In addition to school tours, events will include forums with educators, community leaders, congressional members and other top federal, state and local officials.
