Space Shuttle Discovery rolled out of Vehicle Assembly Building high bay 1 today at 7:10 a.m. and was hard down on the pad surface at 1:35 p.m. Launch pad validations are in work through Tuesday night. The seven-member flight crew arrives this week to participate in Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test activities including a launch day dress rehearsal on Thursday. The MPLM payload,
"Leonardo," is scheduled to arrive at the pad Feb. 23 for installation into Discovery's payload bay.

Endeavour's fuel cell voltage test is complete. The left-hand orbital maneuvering system pod is installed, and workers today are verifying the Shuttle's robot arm. Technicians will service Endeavour's freon coolant system No. 1 this week. Tonight, work begins to install the Shuttle's three main engines. |
