Q.  I would like to download L2SUP product. can you please tell me easy way
to download as i have limited speed broadband download connction.

A.  L2SUP files are large, and we do not recommend that users who are not
very familiar with the AIRS Data Products and who have not studied all
the documentation make use of these data. They provide profiles at
100 levels for our forward calculation of radiances, but the data at
this fine vertical resolution are not independent. The support
products are really designed to aid us to improve our algorithms, so
there are values written out in them that might appear to be physical,
but are simply last values calculated when the algorithm encountered a
problem.

Here there be dragons!

THat said, you can proceed in this manner.

Go to URL:
http://disc.gsfc.nasa.gov/data/datapool/AIRS/Level2_V005/03_AIRX2SUP/i
ndex.html

This is the top level for all L2SUP products. Choose a year, for
example, 2005

http://disc.gsfc.nasa.gov/data/datapool/AIRS/Level2_V005/03_AIRX2SUP/2
005/index.html

Skip to the bottom of the page and set up the temporal order option.
I recommend that you specify a month at a time. Then click the
"Generate Coverage Map" button.

On the page that results, set your latitude/longitude limits and set
the number of granules to display on a page sufficiently large to
include all your hits (globe has 240 per day). If I specify a month
and the limits of LAT (10.0, 22.0) LON (52.0, 75.0) then the number
of hits is approximately 175 granules. Hit "Start Granule Search".

Next page displays all granules in your selection. You could download
each by just clicking on them. At the bottom of the list is a link to
a "Batch Download Script (full size granule data files). Click that.

The page that results is a script file that you can submit to FTP on
your CPU to pull down all the granules that satisfy your specified
time/lat/lon range.

Good Luck.
