Egg Products and Shell Eggs
FSIS has authority over the import of egg products and shell eggs for breaking. FSIS also verifies temperatures of shell eggs packed for the consumer.

FSIS Labeling Requirements
All labels with special claims require an evaluation by FSIS before they can be applied to imported products. Foreign establishments should consult the Guide to Federal Food Labeling Requirements for Meat and Poultry Products to determine the process for label approvals.
