Evaluations available on the AIPL internet site
- Publicly available queries for individual cows, bulls, and goats
- Queries available to industry cooperators
Dairy cattle evaluation summaries, tables, and lists
Available prior to release day:
- Comparison of active AI bull evaluations between this evaluation and the previous release
- Percentile tables of net merit (NM$), fluid merit (FM$), and cheese merit (CM$) for bulls and NM$ for cows by breed
- Elite cow statistics
- Breed means, bases, and heterosis
- Genetic and phenotypic trend (1960 to present) by breed for milk, fat, protein, productive life (PL), somatic cell score (SCS), daughter pregnancy rate (DPR), calving ease, and stillbirth
- Genetic marker effects from genomic prediction
Available at noon on release day:
- Complete sire list sorted by breed and identification (ID) number
- ERCR evaluations (May 2006 - January 2008) (spreadsheet format available)
- SCR evaluations (August 2008 - current) (spreadsheet format available)
- Elite cow list (registered and grade) sorted by breed and herd code
- Holstein high daughters list (Holstein bulls with the most evaluated daughters)
- Top sires with official evaluations sorted by NM$, CM$, and FM$ by breed (includes bulls that may not have semen available in the United States; lists for available bulls are available Thursday following release day
- Average evaluations by country of most daughters
- Source of top 100 bulls on each country's scale
Available at 1 pm Eastern time on the Thursday following release day:

- Top sires and available sires lists sorted by NM$, CM$, and FM$ by breed

Goat yield evaluations are updated in July; type evaluations are updated in January

Bull and cow evaluation files are available for download at 1 pm on the Monday before release but are password protected to allow for download prior to official release
The password for unencrypting the files is available to the public at 7 am on the day of release. See the evaluation schedule for the complete listing of evaluation availability times. A complete description of evaluation distribution is also available.
A mirror site with copies of the evaluation files is available from Dairy Records Management Systems (ftp://ftp.drpc.ncsu.edu).

This text file includes the ID and status code of all bulls with a status of active (A); foreign-sampled, semen available (F); genomically tested that will be marketed (G); or limited use (L). |
