Is there any plans in the future to have a segment that tracks pollen/air particals on a daily basis for those of us have allergies real bad?

There are pollen forecasts generated for major cities, but I do not know what these are based on. I suspect that they are produced by companies that specialize in this business. I have seen the forecasts published in local newspapers. We do not have anything new "in the works" at NOAA. It seems likely that there might be something going on in the EPA. I suggest you search their web site and see if anything comes up.

NOAA has started forecasting air quality, but the initial focus is on ozone. Soon, there will be a focus on airborne particles. This will probably lead to an improvement in the pollen predictions already made, but the goal is to address very small particles first.
