The Committee on Ways and Means continues to prepare its Miscellaneous Tariff Bill.  At this time, the Committee is reviewing the public comments that were submitted concerning the 800+ individual bills proposed for inclusion in the legislation.  Comments on the bills from the United States International Trade Commission and the Administration (U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the Department of Commerce and the Office of the United States Trade Representative) are being received on a rolling basis and being reviewed as they come in.  To date, the Committee has received comments from the ITC and the Administration on the vast majority of bills and expects to have all comments soon.  Once this process is completed, and all the comments have been received and considered, the Committee will finalize its Miscellaneous Tariff Bill for introduction.
