- CLM011: Course Name: Contracting for the Rest of Us
Description: This Continuous Learning Module (CLM) is designed to provide people who do not work in the Contracting field with a basic knowledge of some of the essential processes and considerations that DoD Contracting professionals encounter to satisfy their customers? requirements. It is not meant to be all-inclusive treatment of the subject, but rather an introduction to some of the topics that are covered in greater depth coverage in other Contracting CLMs. This module will also be beneficial for people newly entering the DoD Contracting career field.
In order to successfully complete this CLM and receive your certificate and two continuous learning points, you must go through all lessons until the orange circles are filled in on the Table of Contents. In addition, you must score 100% on the post test. You will have as many attempts as you need to attain the 100% score.
- CLC013: Performance-Based Services Acquisition
Description: Performance Based Services Acquisition: Implementing PBSA is not just a DoD initiative; various organizations need performance based services acquisition. Currently, increasing use of performance based services acquisitions is one of the Administration?s top management initiatives, which have been reinforced at several levels throughout the Federal Government, including: The President's management objectives, Congressional Intent, The Procurement Executives Councils (PEC), The Department of Defense, and Defense Components. The average cumulative time for module completion is six seat hours. You may take this self-paced module over time, with the ability to return to the last page you accessed. The module includes periodic review questions and a post-test. The post-test requires a score of 100% and may be taken as many times as necessary to obtain a passing score.
- CLC014: Acquisition of Services
Description: This module introduces Performance Based Service Contracting and the ways to communicate DoD service requirements. The presentation begins with a discussion of FAR-based changes in performance-based requirements, their effect on the procurement process and the advantages of describing performance outcomes. Using the December 2000 guidance as a backdrop, students go through the process of procuring services.
- CLC016: Implementing Price-Based Acquisition
Description: This module looks at how the contracting officer or contracting specialist can use price-based acquisition as a tool to streamline the source selection process. Special emphasis is placed on using this technique to access commercial technology and products.

If the publicizing is inappropriate due to national security, trade secrets or similar concerns, provide a copy of the justification to OFPP.
