Solar System Exploration Thirty Year Roadmap
The Solar System Roadmap outlines NASA's plans for the exploration of the solar system over the next 30 years. It has been drawn as a 30-year planning horizon, with the backdrop of the President's Initiative, entitled "The Vision for Space Exploration." The roadmap provides flexibility by offering a number of distinct scenarios that will meet the science goals with staggered project initiation dates. This roadmap builds on previous NASA roadmaps and the National Research Council Decadal Survey of Solar System Exploration. This roadmap excludes exploration of the moon and Mars, which is covered in other plans.
