SUBJECT: Determining Impress Fund Requirements

By virtue of authority vested in me as Secretary of the Treasury in Reorganization Plan No. 26 of 1950, there is hereby delegated to the heads and acting heads of bureaus and offices of the Department of the Treasury the authority to determine the need for impress funds and the locations at which such impress funds are required; to request the designation of officers and employees to serve as cashiers under Department of the Treasury Circular No. 1030, Revised; to request the revocation of such designations, and to request the amount of advance to be carried by each cashier.

The authority delegated above may be redelegated by the head or acting head of a bureau or office to responsible subordinate officials thereof and, if so desired, to persons performing the duties of such subordinate officials in their absence.

This order supersedes Treasury Order No. 152, Revised, dated October 15, 1959.
