    Warner, Webb Secure Over $1M for Energy & Water Projects in Shenandoah Valley
    Washington, DC – U.S. Senators Jim Webb and Mark R. Warner today announced that more than $1 million in funding was secured for two water and energy projects in the Shenandoah Valley. The funds were included in the FY2010 Energy and Water Development Appropriations Act, passed in the Senate on Wednesday night, which provides funding for the Department of Energy, Army Corps of Engineers, Department of the Interior, and economic development projects.

    Webb, Warner Introduce Bill to Complete Appalachian Development Highway System
    WASHINGTON, D.C. – Senators Jim Webb (D-VA) and Mark Warner (D-VA) joined Senator Robert Byrd (D-VA), in introducing the Appalachian Development Highway System Completion Act of 2009, which will re-authorize the Appalachian Development Highway System (ADHS).     Warner, Corker Bill Gives FDIC Authority to Wind-Down Bank Hold Companies
    WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Mark R. Warner of Virginia joined Senator Bob Corker of Tennessee today in introducing legislation giving the FDIC authority to resolve, or wind down, bank holding companies, an important interim step toward addressing broader regulatory reform. The senators, both members of the Senate Banking Committee, say the FDIC needs this additional authority to fill a glaring regulatory gap that has come to light over the last 18 months.

Department of Agriculture. Davis will serve as Virginia State Director for Rural Development and Wooden will serve as State Executive Director of the Farm Service Agency.     Webb & Warner Announce $28 Million for Virginia Energy Programs
