Mate Master Chief Botzenhart is a native of Warren, Ohio, and graduated
from Champion Senior High School. He is a twenty-nine year veteran
of the Coast Guard who completed Recruit Training at Cape May, NJ in August

Boatswains Mate Master Chief Botzenhart’s awards include three Coast Guard Commendation Medals with “O” device, two Coast Guard Achievement Medals with “O” device, Commandant’s Letter of Commendation, eight Good Conduct medals, and numerous service and unit awards. Master Chief holds a Permanent Cutterman’s pin, Boat Coxswain pin, Officer in Charge Ashore pin, and Officer in Charge Afloat pin.
