TVA to Close One Lane of Highway 153 Across Chickamauga Dam

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - The outside southbound lane of the bridge across Chickamauga Dam (Thrasher Bridge) on State Route 153 will be closed Thursday, Jan. 22, for maintenance from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The southbound lanes will be merged to one lane from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists may want to consider another route during those hours.

In the event of inclement weather, the work will be rescheduled.
