Breaking tradition: A new look at fracture care, at 16:00 p.m. in Sanford Auditorium. The Norman M. Rich Department of Surgery is pleased to announce that this month�s Distinguished Visiting Professor Lecture in Orthopaedics will be given by Laura L. Tosi, MD, Director Bone Health Program, Children�s National Medical Center, Washington, DC, at 1600 on Thursday 2 April in Sanford Auditorium. In addition to her pediatric orthopaedic practice, Dr. Tosi strives to educate physicians on bone health issues for women and children, with a goal to reduce bone injury as the population ages. She has lectured extensively throughout the United States on osteoporosis prevention. She was the recipient of the 2005 Diversity Award given by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and is widely recognized as an educator and mentor.Speaker is Laura L. Tosi, MD Director, Bone Health Program Children�s National Medical Center Washington, DC.
