Installing ADIOS2
On a Windows PC
Open the folder, ADIOS 2.0.1 Installer, then double-click the "adiosSetup.exe" file icon. Follow the directions you'll see on your screen.
On a Macintosh
ADIOS2 has been compressed so that you can download it from the Internet. Most browsers are configured to automatically uncompact compressed files. If yours is, look for a folder called "Adios 2" on your desktop. Move this folder, which contains the program, supporting files, and the manual, to any location on your hard drive that's convenient for you.
If your browser is not configured to uncompact files, you'll need a decoding utility to uncompact ADIOS2, such as the free Stuffit Expander utility. Once you have uncompacted ADIOS2, look for a folder called "Adios 2" on your desktop.
