Candle Recalls

Do the candles in your home pose a potential fire hazard? Don't become one of the many who will be injured by fire this year.

Consumers have reported the following hazards associated with candles and holders:

Burns caused by flare-ups (higher than normal flames)
Hot gel and injuries due to broken glass and ceramic holders

The list of recalled candles is lengthy and includes gel and wax candles. Designs vary and include a pumpkin, train, martini glass, lighthouse, squirrel holding a marshmallow and plain glass containers to name a few.
