Candle Recalls

Do the candles in your home pose a potential fire hazard?Don't become one of the many who will be injured by fire this year. Consumers have reported the following hazards associated with candles and holders:
  • Burns caused by flare-ups (higher than normal flames)
  • Hot gel and injuries due to broken glass and ceramic holders

The list of recalled candles is lengthy and includes gel and wax candles. Designs vary and include a pumpkin, train, martini glass, lighthouse, squirrel holding a marshmallow and plain glass containers to name a few.

It's worth taking a look to ensure you don't have one of these recalled candles in your home. Click here to check the Consumer Product Safety Commission's website for recall and refund information for candles and other products.
