For Applicants

The Foundation encourages applications from Ph.D. candidates in all fields of study whose dissertation topic has significant relevance to national environmental policy and/or environmental conflict resolution, and who are approaching their final year of writing the dissertation

If you are interested in applying for a 2010 Udall Fellowship:

• Familiarize yourself with the eligibility requirements, fellowship conditions, and selection criteria;
• Have committee approval for your dissertation prospectus by February 24, 2010;
• Have a feasible timeline for completing and defending your dissertation by June 30, 2011;
• Submit all application materials to the Foundation by February 24, 2010;
• Contact the Foundation if you have questions concerning your application.
