Pandemic Flu Information Available from VA
The Department of Veterans Affairs has deployed a website and a toll-free phone (800-507-4571) number for veterans seeking information on Pandemic influenza. VA will begin taking applications for the new Post 9/11 GI Bill on May 1, 2009. The new program is very complex so service members who are eligible for the Montgomery GI Bill and are considering converting to the Post 9/11 GI Bill should compare the benefits of the two programs to determine which best suits the service member’s particular situation. The following links you to VA’s GI Bill website which contains information about all current GI Bill programs including the Post 9/11 GI Bill.
