Tourism Industries Publication: La Cumbre Presentation

The following presentation was delivered at the 9th annual La Cumbre held in Orlando, Florida, September 16-18, 1998. La Cumbre is the premiere Latin American travel industry conference, hosting 1,800 delegates including 600 Latin American buyers, more than 500 suppliers and in excess of 140 members of the international trade and consumer media. More than 25 countries are represented with the largest delegations coming from Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico. The leadership of every VISIT USA Committee in Latin America attends La Cumbre to participate in their annual *Leadership Summit*. This presentation, prepared and delivered by Tourism Industries, has become the keynote address for the event, highlighting traveler characteristics, spending patterns, and arrivals forecasts for this important world region.
