Treasury's 5-YEAR Inflation-Indexed Notes October Reference CPI Numbers and Daily Index Ratios

Public Debt announced today the reference Consumer Price Index (CPI) numbers and the daily index ratios for the month of September for the 5-Year Treasury inflation-indexed notes of Series J-2002. This information is based on the non-seasonally adjusted U.S. City Average All Items Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the U.S. Department of Labor.
In addition to the publication of the reference CPIs (Ref CPI) and index ratios, this release provides the non-seasonally adjusted CPI-U for the prior three- month period. Public Debt intends to announce the reference CPI numbers and the related index ratio monthly for at least one year.
