- SEER-Medicare training: NCI is sponsoring several
courses for researchers interested in using the SEER-Medicare data. Details about the training are
available (PDF). The November 2009 session is full. Another session
will be held in Bethesda, Maryland on March 8-9, 2010. If you are
interested in this training, please contact Michelle Murray.
- Availability of Part D data: Currently, no Part D data are available as
part of the SEER-Medicare data. NCI has been in contact with CMS to obtain permission to add
Part D data to the SEER-Medicare files. These discussions are ongoing.
- A new application form is required when requesting the SEER-Medicare data.
- New Data Available -
SEER-Medicare files with cases diagnosed through 2005 and
claims through 2007 are now available.
