Nebraska Disaster Behavioral Health: Psychological First Aid Curriculum
This training program is an adaptation of “Community-Based Psychological Support” developed by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. The purpose of the Nebraska psychological first aid program is to equip natural helpers to provide psychological support to survivors of critical events (e.g., disasters, conflicts, accidents, etc.).

North Carolina Center for Public Health Preparedness (NCCPHP)

The NCCPHP offers a series of free short Internet-based trainings on public health preparedness, focusing on such topics as surveillance, agents of bioterrorism, and emerging and re-emerging disease agents. Training topics also include cultural competency and risk communication.

Early Responders Distance Learning Center
ERDLC creates and administers accredited courses for the emergency response community on preparing and responding to terrorist incidents with a specialized focus on psychological consequences.

FEMA Online Courses
Includes free independent study courses and continuing education units upon successful completion. Courses include: Emergency Preparedness, Developing and Managing Volunteers, and many other topics.

Emergency Preparedness and Bioterrorism Awareness Curriculum Development Program
This site features bioterrorism resources and publications developed by the University of Washington for nursing, physician’s assistant, pharmacy, and community health curriculums.
