Bringing Systems Together for Family Recovery, Safety, and Stability

The mission of the NCSACW is to improve systems and practice for families with substance use disorders who are involved in the child welfare and family judicial systems by assisting local, State and tribal agencies.

Working Together

Whether you work in Child Welfare, Substance Abuse Treatment, or the Courts, it takes everyone together to improve outcomes for families affected by substance use disorders.

Learning Together

Understanding each system’s practices and procedures and learning to speak each other’s languages will help everyone work together more effectively for the benefit of families.
