The Photographic Information eXchange, also known as PIX, is a collection of photographs related to renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies and the work of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). NREL is a national laboratory of the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.
PIX requires that you run a Web browser that supports forms. To view the pictures online, you must also be able to display GIF and JPEG images. The low-resolution images (400 x 500 pixels at 400 dpi) are available online for download free of charge. Visit the obtain photographs page for information on obtaining high-resolution photographs.
