The effects of expanded mental health benefits on treatment costs.

This study found that expanding mental health treatment benefits in one large company led to an average increase in mental health expenditures but also notes that, for those receiving mental health treatment, the cost of treatment was not affected and outpatient expenditures decreased while prescription drug expenditures increased.
