This article presents a method of developing statistical benchmarks for quality of care measures in behavioral health treatment which had been previously unavailable. The statistical benchmarks were applicable and the authors indicate the additional research is needed to determine whether incorporating such benchmarks will improve outcomes in behavioral health care.
