Medicaid managed care and the unmet need for mental health care among children with special health care needs.

This analysis of state Medicaid managed care programs for children with behavioral health conditions concludes that states with managed care programs reported larger unmet mental health care needs than states with fee-for-service programs.  These results were particularly pronounced for children with emotional problems.
