Data Set: Kaiser/HRET Employer Health Benefits Survey

Sample Coverage and Dataset Characteristics: An annual survey to detail how employer coverage is changing over time in terms of availability, costs and coverage for the 158 million people nationally who rely on employer-sponsored health insurance. The 2007 survey included 3,078 randomly selected, non-federal public and private firms with three or more employees.
Key Variables: Employer-sponsored health coverage; Premiums; Employee contributions and cost-sharing; 1,997 respondents completed the full survey and 1,081 responded to a single question about offering coverage.
