Impact of Medicaid reimbursement on mental health quality indicators.

This article aims to determine the effect of Minimum Data Set utilization in Medicaid reimbursements on mental health quality indicators.  Minimum Data set utilization was associated with poorer quality indicators leading the authors to posit that documentation of mental health symptoms is economically motivated and caution against the use of such measures in policy-setting.
