“Tomorrow, the House will take up H.R. 1256, the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act.  This is important legislation that will give the FDA authority to regulate tobacco products, as well as prevent both the marketing and the sale of tobacco products to minors.  The threat of tobacco addiction to public health is serious, and this bill takes concrete steps to protect our nation’s youth.”
