Frederick Tuttle Middle School Empowered Education Awards Champions

Senator Bernie Sanders met with four Vermont students who were recently chosen as first place winners of the eSchool News' Empowered Education Awards in the middle school category. The competition invited students from around the country to submit an original short video on the theme of "How Technology Helps Me Learn." The winning team of (pictured from left to right) Riya Patel, Elizabeth Lee, Lea Thali and Neel Desai are students at Frederick Tuttle Middle School in S. Burlington, Vermont. Joining them on their trip to Washington, D.C. was their technology teacher, Jay Hoffman.
